Being a working student is never easy, especially when every step forward feels heavier than it should, but I carry on because I chose a path where I can heal and help others. I took up a medical course not just as a dream, but as a purpose, even when my parents couldn’t afford to support my education and I had to stand on my own. There are days when exhaustion, doubt, and the weight of being different as part of the LGBT community make everything feel harder, but none of that changes how deeply I want to finish my studies. I may not fit into everyone’s idea of who I should be, but I know the kind of person I’m becoming—someone resilient, compassionate, and determined to rise despite everything.
